I've downloaded the patch here : http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/evepremiumpatch75883-84244_m.exe
Patch applied successfully, but the client won't start. I get the loading box from eve.exe Then nothing else happens, process ExeFile.exe running in background with 31 Mb memory usage.
Do I have to reinstall the full game from scratch ? How can I make sure to keep my settings ? Especially my valuable bookmarks ?
Any help highly appreciated

Do bookmarks save server side?
Mind you the way things are going im wondering if I will have any chars on the server let alone bookmarks.
I guess bookmarks folders don't replicate server side. Never retrieved them in a client installed on 2nd comp.

I found my bookmarks file under "C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_steam_steamapps_common_eve_online_tranquility\cache\Browser\", but I got EVE through Steam. Anyway, If you let Windows search for the "bookmarksSites.txt" file, it'll find it.
Thanks, but I meant location bookmarks. I found the file though : C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\%INSTALL_PATH\settings\char_#.dat
But all binary data. Probably no way to put back into fresh install, right ?

Yeah, sorry, don't know where my head was.. Those are indeed saved/cached on the server with the Char.

Well, I guess you could try to replace the >new< file with this one, but I really don't know if this will work. Make a backup of that new file, though..
Good call... Saving the whole folder's crap, just in case.
